#### Boys & Girls Clubs announce youth of year

award • Zakaria Mohamed is the 2012 Youth of Year for the Boys & Girls Clubs
of Greater Salt Lake. Zak, 17, attends West High School and is active in the
Capitol West club. He was born in a refugee camp in Kenya and moved to the
U.S. three years ago with his mother and sister. Runners-up are Briana Ochoa,
17, Highland High (Sugar House Club); Lotomoua Valikoula, 17, East High (Lied
Club); and Samantha Ryan, 17, Stansbury High (Tooele Club).
