Considering her paintings of pets, the focus is on the animal’s facial expressions in as much as the detail. Aside from attending a known school of art, she also went to the Maryland institute college of art in Baltimore. She was 25 when she began painting professionally but for much of her career she worked as a nurse. You can say that her reputation as a painter was built up during the ensuing years especially in areas covering florals, architectural subjects, portraits, and pets.
