Is the Jackson Ultima Classique a good figure skate?

I was informed that this was a good skate because it has a leather upper and a screw on blade (so that it can be changed later if I need a better one.) I was wondering if anyone else thinks this is a good skate. If you have personal experince with Jackson skates could you please tell me your opinions on them? That would be great. If you don’t think this is a good skate, could you inform me of one you think is better?

P.S. I am a 14 year old skater who has only been skating since Janurary. I want a good skate that will last me for awhile.

Jackson is generally a beginner level skate and not amazing quality, but the one you describe seems to be a high-ish level skate. The fact that you can change the runner (Blade) on it is not that big a deal, because you will be very hard pressed to find one anyways..

Over all, just see how supportive and stiff the skate is, if it seems stiffer than most, you should be ok. The stiffer the better
