Travis Rice C2 BTX, TRS (total ripper series) for a nooby beginner?
I’m new to snowboarding and after riding for a total of 6 days I want to buy my own board that will last me awhile instead of using the crappy rentals. My friends told me to go with the Lib Tech Travis Rice C2 btx, or the Lib Tech TRS…Should I listen to them and go for it? Are there any other boards that i should consider? I usually just speed down the mountain and once in a blue moon, do some tricks. I’m more of a beginner to intermediate snowboarder, and usually theres only hard packed ice, rarely power, and groomed slopes
Those are more advanced boards. I would recommend something along the lines of a lib tech skate banana, Capita stairmaster extreme, and a Capita indoor survival. Since you are a beginner a softer board will be more forgiving and easier for you to ride, the TR and trs are both stiff boards and are design for advanced free-riding and freestyle.
