Ice Hockey Skates, Need help choosing size and the best ones that will fit me!?
Hello,
Well I am getting into learn to play hockey come Feb. and I am now taking lessons on how to ice skate.
The rentals that the rink has are weird and I talked to my couch and he said they aren’t that good.
Biggest thing he said is that with the rentals when you are on the ice that curve in. So it is hard to stand straight up.
He said once you buy some name brand ones that won’t happen.
So I am wanting to spend less than $180.00 US dollars for a nice pair that will work and make me stand up straight. Just a good pair overall.
I wear a size 13 US MEN shoe.
What ice skate size would be best for me.
If you can post links to the best skates you think will fit me.

I think the answer above me is pretty good. I will tell you all I know about hockey skates so you can take that into consideration, although it is not much.
I would suggest either CCMs or Bauers. They are at the top of the line for hockey skates, so they won’t exactly be cheap, but they are worth it if you will be playing hockey for a while.
If you have particularly narrow feet, the CCMs run a bit on the narrow side, and these would be more comfortable. If your feet tend to be on the wider side, the Bauers will fit you better.
