will a new age in literature be inspired the environmental catastrophe that is feared in next 200 years?
Everyone fears that the high carbon pollution and the resultant green house effect will destroy the Balance in Nature and cause such catastrophes as submergence of coastal towns and villages,denuding of forested hills,reduction in rainfall,increase in deserts,extreme conditions of weather,disappearance of monsoon cycle,drastic reduction in food grain output etc.People will compare this with the days of ancient agricultural communities , the scenic beauties of Biblical age, the Walter Scott world or the rural scenes of Thomas Hardy novels.So there will surely be the literary man’s reaction for decades decades to come.
No because all the old literature speaks of Armageddon anyway.
