i lost alot of weight and my pants dont fit anymore, can i shrink my pants or something?

is there a way to make my pants smaller so that i dont have to go and buy a new wardrobe? i really cant afford to go shopping for new jeans and stuff.

Other pants can usually be taken in easily, but jeans are hard to alter because of fabric and construction. If you have any resale shops in your area, it’s worth a look to see if they have any jeans or pants you like – they often cost only a few dollars a pair. Turn around and sell your old jeans at a garage sale, and you could come out almost even.
If that approach doesn’t appeal, ask at your local dry cleaners and at your high school home ec department if they can recommend someone who does alterations, then see what they would charge to fix up your stuff. Sometimes you can find a bargain, but it can also cost more for alterations than to buy new.
