north face vs guess coat help please?

i need a new winter jacket….i am debating whether to buy a north face steep tech jacket for $350 or a guess jacket that looks VERY similar for about $100. i like the color of the guess coat better and its a lot more feminine which i like too. i have wanted the north face for a while, but my style changes so i dont wanna spend so much on something i might only want to wear for one season…what should i buy?!

firstly i love the name Jennifer lol , north face is a very over priced brand , in england everyone has it in newcastle but i dont see the point in paying £300 for a coat… unless its Armani
