Simple And Easy Jean Bag Instructions

This bag is stylish and a friend or relative would be happy to recieve it as a gift, lets get cracking.
Everything you will need to create your jeans handbaghand me down jeans. you can get an old pair of from a thrift shop but everyone have an old pair they can’t quite bring themselve to throw away.Some Thread. Use a colour to match your jeans, this needs to be strong.
- A scarf or tie. You might need two of these if you are using large jeans for a big bag.
- A machine for sewing. any brand will do. Visit Craft Uk for more details on sewing machines.
Step 1.
Cut the legs off removing the crotch without damaging the zip then steam iron them and set them ready to turn into a bag.
2whip the jeans inside out sew straight accross the bottom. Sew again until the bag is strong enough.Then restore the jeans the right way round, making a denim pouch ready to be turned into a bag.
Step 3Cut two strips 20 x 4 inches from the trouser legs that we removed earlier and set them on a table with the inside side facing each other. Roll in the rough edges on the long side and press them flat then stitch on the long side. This is where your choice of thread come into play as it will be visable on the finished article. Stitch again along the other side, having folded in the edgeStage 4
Attatch the strap to the bag.
Stage 5Add the neck scarf around the bag and tie in an attractive bow.
