is my board right for me?

i just got this morrow lotus snowboard and when i put the bindings on on side of the board was longer than the other no matter where i put the bindings. my dad says its a board for beginners and i am a beginner but ive been snowbarding for 2 years and i am mostly in the terrain park. will this board still work well for me in the terrain park and with whatever trick i want to do?

You could ride in the park with it. But I wouldn’t recommend it. You got your self a more along the lines of a just riding around board. A twin tip is more what you would be looking for. They have centered stances. The board you got would be good in the pow and just riding around all mountain board. The set back helps you keep the tip up for powder conditions. The setback on your board could make it difficult for switch riding. Also, you don’t nessicerly want set back for jumps (could set u back in the air or cause a minor of balance). You could ride the board in the park but try to push your front binding all they way up on your mounts and set you back foot were you fell cofrtable.
I did ride park with a board similar to yours, then I switched to a twin tip and am never going back!
