Wedding dresses from China, on ebay?

Has any one bought a wedding dress from China on ebay? Both my step daughter and son are getting married next year and I have been asked to make the dresses. Having looked on ebay, I can’t believe the prices. I couldn’t buy the material for the prices they are going for. Having two dresses to make it would be cheaper to buy them from this site. I am a little concerned about the quality of them, so if anyone has bought one, could you please tell me what your opinion of the following
a, the quality?
b, the fit?
c, likeness to photograph?
d, delivery?

I’m getting my 3 bridesmaid dresses off ebay from a lady in China. I haven’t received them yet but what I can say is the following –

- Her feedback is excellent
- Her communication is excellent in that she has answered every question of mine (and I had LOADS) either on the day or the next day
- For the cost I am willing to take the chance and just get a dress maker to alter it if it it slightly off
- The dresses are made to measure anyway
- In reality, a majority of clothing comes from China anyway, including many wedding dresses so I’m not concerned about the quality
- As you can sew, you can always alter them yourselves easily
- There was a huge variety to choose from
- The lady is very flexible eg. if you want a halter added, she’ll do it for free.
- Quick deliver (she has emailed to say they are made and on their way – didn’t take long at all)

Go for it! Don’t let snobby people put you off because perhaps the dressmaker’s English isn’t so good or because they think you need to spend a huge amount of money on a wedding.
