How difficult is it to alter mileage/hours on a Sea Doo engine?
I’m looking to buy a used Sea Doo from a private party and I’m finding several models 2005 and older with LESS than 100 original hours…seems fishy to me to find so many units with so few hours (<20/year).

UPDATED: Many of the trailers are newer than the PWC's themselves and most are not original owners so that's a tough cross-check, but good idea when possible....

It is actually very hard i would not worry about it to much but if someone did alter there are many security measures that they would of had to get through. Not very easy. If you are still suspicious you can have a PWC mechanic come and inspect it before you buy and he could tell you right away.
