The Extremely Popular Glee TV Series – A Non Fan Looks At the Phenomenon
Glee, the all singing, all dancing TV sensation is taking the planet by storm. Whereas inevitable comparisons to High School Musical are being created left, right and centre, the Glee show is taking a bit of a different course to those films. It tends to indicate that characters are not perfect, and on the whole is a little more realistic than the Zac Efron/Vanessa Hudgens extravaganza.
Glee’s second season is on its way, and rumours are already circulating of a Glee feature version, except for now it is remaining on Television, where it is garnering large audience statistics. It is not just happening stateside either, as Glee mania has gripped fans around the world.
The audio CDs of songs from the Glee TV series are proving to be enormous hits with followers, as is the notorious cover version of ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by classic rock band Journey. Ok, thus it may return over as sickly and persistently twee, it does have its redeeming factors. The characters aren’t good, emaciated, perfect idols. Several of them come over as traditional, with regular problems and issues. Positive, the show is concerning as laborious hitting as Pokemon, but it has its worth.
Whereas the Glee TV series is far from original, it has really tapped into the audience that has been left reeling by the tip of High School Musical, and in the method it’s accumulating even more followers, all of whom need additional singing and dancing comedy drama in their existence. Essentially, it is filling followers with glee. As bad as that pun is, it would appear to be true!
I should stress that I’m not an acquaintance in any manner, form or form. However, I do honestly believe that a TV show with a positive message, that follows a assortment of underdog characters, actually has its place on our screens. I may actively dislike the show, however there are countless individuals that find it irresistible, and I can’t envy them that, as it is an innocuous and entertaining series {that a} nice several folks are getting something out of.
