Hey all, can anyone tell me the history of the Burton Uninc snowboards?
I have been riding for 7 years now and been all over the world including chile and argentina and a season in meribel, france. I had a burton custom which snapped and burton replaced no questions so ive go no qualms with burton!! Thanks anyway gabatron!
Its just that there isnt any info i can find about the uninc – do those 4 riders design it, is each size different. What does the burton coalition actually mean. Im looking at the uninc 158 with the est bindings and if i like the vibe ill get it. How does it compare to the custom etc im mainly a holiday rider now so i do all things, powder piste and park all to a decent level. learnt to backflip last time i was out in morzine!!

Burton is a very good brand. Snowboarders get annoyed when people think its the only good brand out there, when there are many other brands just as good. If someone has valid reasons to claim Burton is their favorite, then that is cool. Its just annoying when people say Burton is the best and they have nothing to back that opinion up with except that Burton is the biggest.
Burton has been responsible for a lot of the advancements in snowboarding.
The Uninc is a very good board. What kind of history are you wondering about? It was a board developed with a lot of input from the team riders, and riden by many of them. I don’t really think there is some big history behind it though.
EDIT: The Uninc will do great for what you want to do.
