Toronto Boot Camp Training Should Make You A Greater Person
The Internet is a wonderful place to search for a Toronto boot-camp workouts, but the choices can leave you exhausted. It doesn’t matter where in the GTA you live or whether you’re a commuter, you can find a boot camp at the time of day that suits you and your budget. Here are a few things for you to consider when shaping up your body and looking for new friends.
One of the major criteria when looking for a Toronto bootcamp is money. How much is will cost is a serious consideration when so many of us aren’t sure of our commitment level. You can’t avoid paying good money for a boot camp. After all, the instructors are all qualified with generally excellent credentials and you’re paying for the benefit of their knowledge. One way to reduce your cost is to choose a large class in a large space.
The chances of finding one-on-one instruction in a boot camp setting are very slim. It’s not personal training, its group training and you’re expected to march with the best of them. The price of your Toronto boot camp is also dependent on how many weeks duration the camp is. Prices may range from $300 to $500 and class length may be from four weeks to six or eight weeks.
Think about your fitness objectives and what sort of a self-starter you are. If you just need a jump start, then a four-week class might be the boost you need to take off on your own. Six weeks is a nice even number – short enough that you won’t become bored and long enough that you’ll see results. Those results will keep you motivated. Or, choose an eight-week boot camp if you have at least 15 pounds to lose and you have a specific goal, such as a wedding or high school reunion.
What time of year will this boot camp be running in? Check out which Toronto boot camps are indoors, outdoors, or a combination of both. That fresh breeze off Lake Ontario isn’t as pleasant in February as it is in July. An invigorating 5k sprint up Yonge Street mid-winter or an icy workout in a field in Newmarket at 5 a.m. may not be your thing. Or it may be just the thing!
Or, perhaps that crisp, Southern Ontario air is invigorating and you can totally see yourself doing pushups out in a field in the dead of winter. Take heart that many boot camps run by personal training professionals take place in high school and church gymnasiums. It’s not about being trendy. Boot camps are about hard work.
The time of day is a very serious consideration. If you’re not a morning person, don’t make yourself get out of bed at 5 a.m. to slide into your running shoes and get out the door to put your body through strenuous exercise. It’s a recipe for failure. A late afternoon or evening boot camp might be better suited for you. Success with your exercise, and seeing your boot camp through from beginning to end, is the most important, so choose your time to exercise wisely. Lunch time is ideal for the 9 to 5 crowd and stay-at-home-moms should look for boot camps in the evening, when the kids are in school, or choose a boot camp that allows moms to bring their children in strollers.
No matter where you are in the GTA, or even if you’re a commuter out there in Oshawa, or as far west as Hamilton, you’re sure to find a bootcamp exercise that will offer you an increase in self-esteem and ultimately success. Enlist in a Toronto boot camp today. You’re well worth the investment.
